Although Apple has not yet announced anything about the features and specifications of the new iPhone lineup, according to different analysts it will come with major changes. Particularly, they claim that the upcoming iPhone lineup will have a distinct design compared to the past series iPhones. Additionally, the display size will increase with improved refresh rates. 

Furthermore, Apple’s next generation A19 chip will be integrated for better performance. In terms of energy efficiency, according to leaks, the charging speed will increase and become ~35W. That means, it will offer faster charging.

iPhone 17: Design and Display

According to emerging reports and insights, iPhone 17 Air is going to launch a unique design with ultra thin bezels. Also, this would be the only model with Titanium frame in the iPhone 17 lineup. As the thickness may be approximately 5.5mm, it will be the slimmest iPhone till date. Even more, with a 6.6-inch LTPO OLED display, which offers ProMotion technology with a 120Hz refresh rate.

All of a sudden, some analysts claim that Apple will feature the new iPhone series with an aluminum frame which is comparatively thermally conductive. Both standard and pro version will have 6.27-inch LTPO displays, with 120Hz refresh rates. However, iPhone 17 pro max is likely to feature a larger 6.86-inch LTPO display. CPU, RAM and Storage

The standard models of iPhone 17 may integrate Apple’s next generation A19 chip, whereas the pro models may have A19 pro chip. 

While the RAM capacity of standard ones will have 8 GB, the pro versions will be 12 GB. Meanwhile, the storage will remain the same as iPhone 16 pro max (256 GB, 512 GB, 1TB, 2TB).

However, it will keep the titanium frame, which is heavier but stronger, as it will focus on minimizing its thickness.
